I feel that the Spark has and will continue to eat what would be potential Sonic sales. Anywhere I drive, I see the Spark which points to the fact that people will buy "small" if the price is right. Glad to see the Yaris up for the month, especially after last month's dismal showing.

I see more Sparks than I do Sonics. I also see quite a few Spark rental cars around here, which likely is helping sales. I quite like both Chevys, though. In addition, the Spark EV has gotten the name recognition up more, I think.

I predict Yaris sales to continue to be fairly slow. A new Corolla is coming soon, and most Toyota dealers don't seem to keep many Yarii on the lots anyway. Plus, with the introduction of a new Nissan Note (which they're actually advertising), I think the Yaris may fade further into obscurity, especially since there is essentially no advertising for it.

Just my two cents.

It looks a lot like a Fit. Looking forward to seeing one in person.

I never thought I would ever consider getting an EV/hybrid but the Spark EV has me really interested. Hopefully those of us not on the west coast will get the chance to play in one.
