O-Sulee Thermoplastic Rubber Spring Cushions

Just had these Installed on my Yaris last week. Again I searched the threads about these which came up with nothing. So I decided to post about this product just for general interest. They are made in Taiwan of " Thermoplastic or Elastomer rubber " Not sure exactly what the means. Could be defining them as resistant to heat and deformity. Anyways, this product seems to be quite popular in the P.I in the past couple of years. They are not rubber lifters or inserts but spring cushions. There have been mixed reviews on them; depending on make and model of car they are put on and suspension set up.
Anyways, I decided to put them on for several reasons. I wanted soften up my ride just a bit. Im running H&R's on stock shocks. Allthough, this set up isn't really stiff, its still a bit bumpy. Second, I wanted to protect and prolong the life of my shocks which the company claims it does. They also claim it reduces drifting, shaking, tilting and vibration. They soften the ride without change in spring rate of my H&R's I presumed so that was good. Lastly we have very sub par roads here. Potholes large and small, steep short bumps are unavoidable.
I put on the rear cushions first to test, and the rear was really bumpier in my set up. Car felt great after installing at the rear. It damped nicely and the bumpiness stopped. I could have just kept it this way, but decided to go ahead and have them put on upfront as well. Having had the front cushions put on and driving away, at first I was quite disappointed. The ride and feel at the steering wheel lost some sportiness to it. I lost road feedback. However after a bit more of driving around, pushing and testing, I became more satisfied. Had them on for 4 days now, the ride feels better. So I think Ill keep them on. Those potholes and bumps are much less of a threat with them on and Im not slowing down and swerving allover the place to avoid them.
