Manual here, ....getting tired of it since traffics here is so bad. Took me 1 hour and 30 minutes to get home instead of 15 minutes without traffics.

I could not think of a more fitting punishment from hades than having a manual while sitting in the cluster that is my daily Atlanta commute.

Manual! The only way to drive.

And if you guys think your traffic is bad, you've never been in Bangkok.

I love "authomatics"! They can do your homework for you!

Sorry, cheap shot at a spelling error, couldn't resist!

I have an auto, but not by choice. When I bought mine last July the dealer only had a auto, and the gf can't drive a stick. Would have gotten a manual, but the closest two in the country were in Alaska and Montana. They wanted $2,000 more for the alaskan one, and $1,000 more for the Montanan one.

I've had both on this car. I enjoy the manual so much more; it's quite a bit more frugal and gives more control.

A few manual drivers think it makes you cooler but it's really just personal preference. Automatics do have a higher resale value if thats important to you. Also, for an automatic transmission, this one shifts nice and overall works very well.

it's a question of habit and of tradition...
in italy we don't use authomatic.
it's not usual to find an authomatic car
we have a lot of trafic but we prefer the manual gear...maybe we are crazy!

Mine is auto, my girlfriend tried to convince me to get a manual since there were 6 on the lot but I don't know how to drive manual and the few times I've tried to learn haven't gone well. In Tucson the manual are much more popular than the auto, I had a hard time finding an auto but there were lots of choices if I had gone manual.

I say automatics. Mine were. However by the time I was in driver's ed I had already learned to drive a stick. My sister can...poorly. My brother cant at all (but he isnt a great driver period) I am the only one that made it a point to learn and learn fast.

My driving school was on auto been driving auto ever since then. First time ever to drive a manual was when I bought this car and I don't think I will ever switch back. I love it. I just jumped in the car and knew how to drive it. I did kill it for about a week at red lights but after that I was golden. :) I LOVE MY YARIS HAHA
