weird noise when i press brake pedal - Toyota Yaris Forums

my brakes working fine when i press normally but when i press hard and the abs is on this weird noise is coming!

any suggestions?

my car is 2008 yaris sedan.

I wasn't able to see the video, but abs is supposed to have a noise or a vibration. It is there to let you know that it's engaged

That's called abs, do a google search and you'll find out all the info you need in about 5 seconds. Don't brake so hard and your abs won't need to kick in, if it does you'll get a noise and vibration

Thats so your car doesn't skid out of control.

ABS kicks in when breaking all of the sudden.

When i first heard that sound i was in my friend Chevy cobalt.

I said what the heck is wrong with your breaks.
Then he explained the new breaking system to me.
I laugh and told him his breaks sound like gravel breaks.
Meaning it sounded like if we were breaking on a rough gravel road.
