Electrical problem 2007 yaris
About 2 months ago I lost power to my steering wheel at a drive thru for a little bit but it came back when I started moving. Has not happened again since but the other day I was on highway and my stereo shut off and I seen the lights on the dash flickering . Some reason I flipped the headlights on for a second and all electrical went dead but came back in after a second. It is a new battery and I had alternator tested . What could it be. I still have been driving it after that. I do have an amp hooked up to the battery.

Check the connector to the ignition switch. Start the car and then wiggle each wire in the connector and see if wiggling one particular one makes the ignition cut out. I had a similar issue with my headlights and found that one of the pins had gotten sloppy due to the number of times I had inserted and removed it over the years.
