2012 Yaris LE Rally look conversion
I am modifying the aesthetics of my newly bought Yaris to make it look more rally ready.
What I have installed for the moment: 2x6LED Lights on the bumper 4 Acura 1.7 EL wheels 2 Rally armor Mub flaps on the front (still wondering if I should put the rear ones) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0IYEuRFZPw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0P2nucySAk Last edited by coolguyndc; 09-10-2017 at 08:08 PM. |

1. The LED bumper mounted lights are certainly bright. Aesthetically? I probably would have incorporated them into the grille work somehow.
2. The Acura wheels look great. 3. The Rally Armor mud flaps up front are really BIG. And... a nice photo of you coolguy! BTW, where are you located in La Belle Province? |

The LED would be better in the Grill, but I prefer on the bumper, so if someone bumps me in the front, it wont hit the radiator. I am not a big fan of the front look either, but it works.....
For the mud flaps, I agree that they are big. I made them go out a lot to ensure they would be effective in the snow and gravel to prevents rocks from hitting the panels. If I put the rear ones, I will make the protrude less, and I will also trim them to be slimmer. My Friend Nicolas is in the pictures, not me. But I think it's better that way Also, I am from Quebec. I know my username is coolguyndc, but please call me Nick. I like to use the same username everywhere, so people know it's me. Also, I chose it because it's not cool....... I might remove everything if I get tired of the look. It cost me less than 50$ for everything at the moment, it was more for the fun of it than everything. At least, I have a unique Yaris |

I woke up this morning, and decided to remove the LED light, because they are ugly...
The mud flaps will be adjusted and they will stay for now. If I like the look, I will get polyurethane sheets and cut my own. |

I think it's coming along nicely.
I'm not a fan of light bars and fender flares, which are super popular right now, but I didn't think it looked ugly on your car. Not my taste, but wouldn't call it flat out ugly. The rally style mud flaps can look great to me, if done right. Either way, looking forward to following your progress. |

You could probably mount those LED lights behind the lower grille... basically invisible until you turn them on.
Keep posting. Have fun. |

What flares?
I have an electrical issue that appeared the day after I installed the lights. I will remove them for now, at least |

I will adjust the front mud flaps to stick out less. The look is not bag, but it<s a bit too much. I removed the lights. They looked good on my track car, but not on the Yaris... |
