Since I'm anti-shiny I don't care much for polished lips, but the wheels should look good on your car if thats your thing.

IMO it looks goofy when you have staggered rims on a FWD car.

Those rims look alright, but on a Yaris I wouldn't use them.

Your car though, I won't dog you for modding it the way you want.

I love black with a polished lip. See my car for instance. Go for it.

I really like the style as well.. It adds some nice definition that I think is lost with flat black wheels.

Black with a polished lip, black with a polished lip, black with a polished lip.

Dare to be similar.

You'd look like every other joe schmo on the road, but if you dig 'em go for it. I wanna see someone slap a set of gun blue rims on a flint mica S.

Well.. considering the small percentage of car owners that actually upgrade their wheels beyond the stock steels or alloys, I wouldn't really say there's a whole lot of people out there to come across unless you regularly go to meets or shows.

I'd say a solid 30% of cars with aftermarket rims I see on the roads anymore have black rims with a polished lip.

I've been campaigning against them for a few days, but I'll stop now.
