Trouble with my 2010 Ford F150 - Toyota Yaris Forums

Here’s the problem. When you turn the lights on, the odometer display and the radio and clock display go out.

Any help you might provide would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure nothing is covering the light sensor on the dash.

It turned out the rheostat for the dash lights was turned down all the way! Problem solved! I thought there was something wrong with the wiring or the fuses.

Sometimes its the simplest things. Once almost threw my computer out the window while trying to print something only to eventually realize my printer cable had become unplugged.

I always think the worst!

Of course this is a Ford, not a Toyota. 56,000 miles it’s already had the ABS module go bad and one of the front wheel bearings. $500 to do the wheel bearing. The used car dealer I bought it from did those.

But I am waiting for my turn. I’ve only got about 550 miles on it since I bought it in November. That’s my defense mechanism against problems
