Head/Tail Light Overlays

Anyone have precut kits yet for the Yaris Hatch?? I tried the search function so I'm sorry if this has been covered before.

I got headlight smoke from auto clear bra on ebay. Haven't attempted the install yet. My local shop said the angles are too extreme, so I'm going to try it myself....

the ones I got are pre-cut. I think the spray probably looks better (and you can do the entire unit instead of just the surface that shows), but isn't it more "permanent"?

yes, I think it is permanant, but I hear the overlays are near impossible to remove down the road, may not be that bad though

Chino went thought this whole thing with his tails... the vinyl just does not look as good on our tails..... Nightshades is the way to go... it is not permanant.... I have sprayed mine.. removed it... and redone them once already... I am actaully going to be smoking my headlights here very soon to have the complete black look :)

Do the spray and then clear the light. I painted a set of Civic tails once this way. I used a spray gun with urethane clear, then buffed the lights. They are still very shiny to this day.

I think I will do that for my tails. Not sure on the headlights yet. Where did you guys get the precuts for the headlights?

better take it to a pro and I'll bet it still has some wrinkle and bubble goin' on

from what I hear this stuff is a bitch, I'd say get the night shades like these guys did but I prefer to wait for aftermarket for a headlight change personally

THey have a lighter tint headlight overlay, I think I'm going to get that. The lighter smoke will look hot with the meteorite Yaris :)

I'm pretty sure altering the headlight in anyway is illegal.
