What Would Be Your Choice NF/DF

I have 205/40 R17 wheels and NEED to lower it. I like the idea of the softer ride of the NF210 but do not know if it will close the wheel gap enough, but the DF210 might be too stiff. I do alot of driving so I need some comfort. If anyone has pics with this setup I would love to see them.

Thanks

there are alot of pics with the two springs. the df are only a 10% increase wich is nothing and still rides like stock. i would prefer coilovers which i may ditch the current set-up for

so the NFs feel softer on control?...
and the DF is stiff like stock?

which ones best suit normal roads/normal driving?

My NF210's are, borderline, to stiff with 205/40/17's. If you do a lot of driving I wouldn't get the DF210's. Heres a pic with 38mm offset wheels.

Have you ever considered Teins? I just put them on a week ago and the ride is nice and it said to be 1.9 drop all around

NF210’s if you’re a daily commuter or if you live in an area were the roads suck, IMHO. When in doubt go with the most conservative approach. Check the guy’s garages and compare spring rates, tire size, etc. Cheers.

I have the Df's and do a 1hour round trip daily commute to school, and then to and from work after that. I drive around everywhere on them. On 195-50-15's. And the stiffness is not that huge of a deal. To me.. Nf's are a waste unless your putting HUGE rims on and dont want them to rub. There is still a small amount of gap after the DF's. The car looks 100 times better - but i'd love it to be a 1/2 inch lower. If your gonna lower the car...lower the car. Save and get coilovers..

I have DF210's, and my ride is just about exactly like stock, not stiff at all. I have 195/50/16 on 16 x 7 +38mm wheels

I would love to get the coilovers but like a bird i am cheap. So until I get more money and more body kits are made for the canadian yaris i will have to settle with just springs.
By the way I was looking on the form and other sites and I have seen the NF drop rated fron 1"/1" to 1.5"/1.8". Does anyone know the true drop and settle of the springs.

You guys saying the DF's ride just like stock are full of shit. The DF's have a greater spring rate than the NF's and the NF's ride considerably stiffer than stock. Let's try and not mislead Yarismutt with his spring purchase.

NF210 drop is 1.1 front and 1.3 rear.

It doesnt ride like stock - to me its better, it is a stiffer ride. Its not bouncy, its not rough, its pretty good. I'm not saying its a factory feel. But I am saying that I do a ton of driving on DFs with lower profile tires and its not an unbearable mess that some Nf owners make it out to be. The car needs to be lowered so much its not even funny and I wasnt about to spend money on Nf's or Trd's that when all is said and done, dont even give that much of a noticeable change in the cars appearance. The DF's were totally worth it and I have no regrets putting them on, other than I wish it was a little lower, or that I need some 16's or 17's rather than the 15 inch konig's i have now. 17" wheels on a yaris with DF's would be insane.
