what is your take on this?

Its a performace engine rebuild kit for the yaris I believe. will it work? anyone heard of it before? |

that is an interesting set, especially if you want to lower compression to run a higher boost turbo. But keep in mind, it does not come with any new, stronger piston rods, which would be a very welcome addition.

Yeah I saw this kit, but eTiMaGo is right that's kind of like half assing it If you don't get better connecting rods.

A '99 engine is nothing like the 2007. It would offer nothing. If you have, say, 150,000 miles and want to rebuild it, you can get the ZPI 8.5:1 pistons and drop 16lbs of boost and have a runner... until that darn piston blows through the hood!!

you can get the main parts here: rods, pistons, rings.
Race Engineering the pistons are available with different bore and compression sizes for all different applications. i have bought from them in the past and i have nothing but good things to say. |
