It is actually kind of ingenious where they placed the cupholders in the front....in the summer at least...They placed it directly in front of a vent therefore you can position the vent so that you can keep the a/c flowing on your drink keeping it chill. I have taken a few tight corners and have not had issues with even a large cup tipping....with one exception that was Tim Hortons cause they are stupid and have a weak ass cup they use for Ice Caps. but anyway...to each their own....I put my change in the center armrest
