I have mixed feelings about this game. It's totally different than what I read a year ago after Armageddon (MK7). They were supposed to go back to basics and near 2D (like Street Fighter 4). But in developing the game, they decided to add the colaboration as the 8th title to the game unlike the Marvel Vs. Capcom which were seperate from the original Capcom games due to the fact that it literally brought both worlds together rather than a Street Fighter Vs. Marvel.

In terms of characters, according to the site, there are few. I'm hoping that there are a bit more in terms of unlockable characters. Guess that's what I liked about Armegeddon and the fact that they had enough customization styles that you can create characters from other games/Anime (my first was Akuma from Street Fighter). Oh and did I mention that some of the voice overs sucked IMO?

They did make the November deadline which I'm impressed about because normally the games tend to come out later for big titles such as the Mortal Kombat franchise.
