Yeah, removing it would render the passenger's airbag useless.. Unless resistors are made to trick the car into thinking that there is a seated and belted passenger in place. I won't go that route though, since that airbag would go off in the even of an accident even if I didn't have a passenger. Heck! I should just yank that seat out!
