damp engine problems?
today there was a lot of rain
and i didn't run my car the other day so basically it had been sitting at a slightly declined driveway with the engine pointing down for 2 days without being run and in a very wet and humid climate. I turned it over and it stuggled to keep running smoothly... so I shut it off. waited a few minutes outside of the car and could smell a burning sort of smell. second attempt.... started, ran rough.... then eventually stalled.... third attempt, started, ran rough, rev'd it a little and began to run smoothly. I poped the hood and noticed that my windshield fluid container was open??? I doubt that had any effect, ALSO there was some smoke (or steam) coming from the back right portion of the engine... after a whille it stopped and the car ran perfectly.... I guess the engine just got damp???? Any thoughts?
