True, but the increase is insignificant if you have a claim...I think mine went up about 12 dollars a month to have a 50.00(comprehensive) deductible. I keep my collision deductible @ 500 because it seems to make a bigger difference. Occasionally somebody will do something to my car(steal something, scratch it, etc) and since it's not my fault, and not an accident, it's does not increase my rates.
