Is Maintenance Required Light ONLY for oil change reminder?
Is there any other reason the maintenance required light would come on or is it's only purpose to remind me of regular oil changes?
The reason I ask is that I change the oil about 1,000 miles ago and the light has already come on. I was sure I reset the light and my wife also says she remembers that it was on before I did the oil change. Of course, this has me second guessing myself: am I just remembering wrong and I didn't reset it? Should I just reset it or do I need to get the codes read/start troubleshooting? Sorry if this has been covered; I did a search and all I could find was topics about how to reset the light and stuff like that. |
