Cap ontop of strut???

I was actually prying the whole big plastic piece.That is held on with the nut.

I cot the paper thin plastic cap off know.Didnt even see it there as it was so thin.


Know thats solved i cannot loosen top nut without allenkey spinning.

I would need a 12'' long allen key to get the leverage needed to loosen nut.

Time is running out so I may put everything back together and try on the weekend.


This is a lazy silly desighn.

My accord was a breeze.

I even put sleved bar onto allen key and have it wedget between some metal things and nut wont budge.

I would need to get my impact wrench into there while holding the allen key somehow.

Not sure why everyone says its an simple job?

Going to fiddle around for another hour then will have local mechanic do the job.The rears are done so I may be able to get it done for a couple hundred.Atleast i tried.
