Nice pics. Judging from your video, 5th gear acceleration seems faster then my gas powered 1.5L. I'd need to be in third gear to let loose the horses to defeat the diesel's torque.

Personally, I don't know if I'd give-up the quickness of the 1.5L for the durability inherent in a diesel engine. I suppose the initial clutch take-up and the ability to loaf around at a very low rpm could sway the balance. It's too bad we don't have that engine here in North America.
