She had an extremely severe reaction to seafood (the anchovies). The girl who did this, to my knowledge, has been given the boot (not that it's hard to find a low-paying job around here, but still). Her throat had closed and I recall blue and purple shades in her face...
An EMS guy helped me lift her on a rolling bed (sorry for lack of technical wording here), and promptly took her to a room, while the triage nurse looked on. ( ) Afterwards I had to go chase down the closest parking meter so that my little Yaris wouldn't be towed away. ![]() She came out okay. Thank god, she had me pretty worried when she blacked out. She doesn't remember a thing, I thought she'd at least remember me blowing by the fire truck's sirens, nope. She was heavily drugged up, so she needed a bit of time to recover, but I just saw her tonight and she's back to her normal mushy self.
