Sound deadening
I would like to add some sound deadening material to my yaris HB but i don't want to spend a lot of money or add a bunch of weight. From the research i've done, it's going to cost at least a few hundred to do a high grade job. I was thinking of using some insulation (it's basically bubble wrap with a silver lineing on either side.) as a base and then that purple insulation material that is found in small amounts already in the car, on top of that. Both materials are light and i can get lots of it for cheap.
So, i would like some feed back on whether my results will be minimal and not worth it or if you guys think my plan will yeild some half decent results. My after market speakers are rattling my interior and i also want to reduce road noise.
