Those hoses you removed are for the PCV system. Google it and probally read up what it is for and what it does. At the very very last where valve cover is put a breather tube there. So the engine can vent into your hood. And put corrosive crap that will eat through paint in the area and under your hood. Atleast you wont cause oil leaks. That is a mod that "racers" do who install aftermarket intakes that dont have a port for the pcv hose. If you are concerned about oil contaminating the intake manifold you could just simply install a oil catch can.
