My Intro. - Toyota Yaris Forums

Hey guys...

1st post. Just thought I'd write up an intro... my name is Scott. Picked up my '07 Yaris S Sedan - manual. Pacific Blue. Bought it @ Superstition Springs Toyota in Mesa, AZ and drove 1,200 miles back to Houston. Awesome car. Gas prices on the drive ranged from $2.19/gal. to $2.69/gal. I only spent a total of $70.44 the whole trip and that included cruising around Mesa for a little while once I picked it up.

Downside of the trip was me getting a speeding ticket in Ozona, TX going eastbound on I-10. The speed limit is 80 mph during the day and I received a citation for going 83 mph. Yes. Three miles per hour over the limit. I don't quite see how that is "speeding"...

Aside from that, the car is phenomenal. Superstition Springs Toyota really sucks... but all in all, things went well.

I'm lookin' forward to [tastefully] modding the ride.
