I've done absolutely nothing to gain any speed or torque and I have never failed to get where I was going in a reasonable time and manner.
This proves that the car does indeed have enough power. Some folks want more power, but want is a long way from need.

99% of the driving population probably don't drive like you do...see them zoom by you every day? I do, and I drive 65-70mph
Driving habits are hard to change and most people have too much else to worry about to stay glued to a scan gauge's every movement.
If a John Deere can pull a length or two on you during every launch, then yes, the Yaris is all any one would ever
need.
