The rear calipers and pads are made in Thailand. I carry replacement pads, and CarboTech will make pads for these calipers if I (1) run out or (2) someone wants something special.
I'm not sure of the exact rotor material, but I'm not sure what you mean by the "internals of the disc". The construction is different, because it retains an e-brake shoe inside. So, when you install it, you have a place to attach the e-brake cable.

thats really cool that it retains the E brake function. Now what about brake balance? does it do anything to change the front to rear balance? i would think it would have to shift it to the rear a little, which may not be bad.
