Don't be such a sucker. That 300k warranty is just marketing hype. Why would anyone change their synthetic oil at only 4,000 miles? What a huge waste of money and resources over 300k miles. Your Yaris should go 6,000 to 9,000 miles between changes when using synthetic. This valvoline gimmik is a stupid proposition to be sure.

Don't you realize you could run the "worse" and "cheapest" dino oil in your car and it will still last 300,000 miles?

I think Valvoline synthetic oil is great, fantastic, wonderful, but this 300k warranty gimmick is for suckersl people lacking experience will get sucked in.

These days ALL synthetic oils are great and NONE of them will cause any engine failure unless misapplied, and even then, the margin of safety is huge.

And don't full yourself: Valvoline knows darned well it will NEVER have to pay ANY claims...
