Water in Spare Tire Well
Anyone else have this problem?
This is the first problem with my 2007 liftback with nearly 90,000 miles. I haven't done anything recently so I don't have a clue what caused it. I noticed a musty smell in the car and thought one of my kids left something nasty in there. Upon investigation, I found several inches of water in the spare tire well. I pulled the drain plug, dried it out and replaced the plug. The water was back after the next rain. I'm now driving around with the plug out, but want to fix it right. The weather strip around the hatch looks fine. Any ideas? |
