Rear Window Defogger
This may not be news to the vast majority of folks here, but some other newbies like me who have not had their "Yarii" during any winter months might find this information useful. The rear window defogger must be turned off manually. I used mine this morning on the way to work, and I found it still on when I went to lunch today.
The lack of a timer on the defogger is very surprising to me. It is also surprising that it will stay on when the ignition is switched off. (There is a warning in the owners manual about draining the battery by leaving the defogger on when the car is shut off.) Gee, I guess a guy really ought to read his owners manual, huh? Tomster |
