Break in period MPG

So I bought my '10 Yaris Sedan exactly 2 weeks ago. It had 10 miles on it when I drove it off the lot. It now has just under 1000 miles on it, and I've filled it up 4 times. Each time the MPG was right around 31-32mpg. The first tank was all city, the second was all hwy, the third was half hwy, half city, and the forth was all city. Is it common for new cars to get the same MPG on hwy and city at first? This is my first new car, I just want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong. About how many more miles until I can really see what the MPG's will be?

Thanks. Oh yeah, I'm loving the new car.
