Can I use stock tires?
Hey guys, I just purchased a set of Enkei FD-05s from DiscountDirectTire or whatever. I didn't realize until just now that the wheel width is 7" as opposed to the stock steel width of 5.5" on my sedan. Is this going to be a problem? I checked the sticky and only understood about half of it... I really don't want to have to drop money on new tires.
UPDATE: I ended up ordering 195/60/15 tires. Two questions. How much of a safety issue would stretching have been, and these tires WILL fit my wheels, right? Last edited by Focus_Sh1ft; 03-18-2010 at 11:32 PM. |
