However, when one uses fuel economy calculators like those linked underneath, one will more likely than not get numbers that are in fact calculated down to the tenth of a mile. I guess few people will spend extra time to round the figures up, or down. Incidentally, the fourth one, which is from the US Department of Energy, actually states examples in numbers calculated down to a tenth of a mile.
