Turbo Crashy
I received the Indonesian OEM Toyota 1st gen Vios turbo kit from Garm yesterday. Garm imported one of these kits and I was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time. The kit consists of a lot of parts and no documentation, so I am using the EPC to try to sort it out.
Here's the snail - It's an IHI RHF4 with a custom turbine housing (Note the Toyota part number 17201-YW602 on the compressor impeller housing): Turbo.jpg Last night I sorted through the 100+ parts trying to match them up with the EPC. I began the process of test fitting it on Crashy (before moving it to my 09) to assess any issues due to the under-hood differences between the 1st and 2nd gen Yaris.
