I now have an 07 Yaris, my 08 Yaris got totalled (is it too much to ask for the other driver to not speed around turns and to stay in his own lane?
) The other driver tried to claim that I was the one over the line, but their story didn't hold up, and besides, the pattern of damage on the car indicated that they had to be over the line.Anyway, my new Yaris is red, so it's "The Big Red Car". If any of you have kids, you may know the Big Red Car from the Wiggles kid's TV show. It's a stick shift, I haven't driven a stick shift in years. Took a while to get used to it. I could do it, but it didn't feel like I could do it. Now I'm finding that I'm not even thinking about shifting. The last time I had a stick shift was an 87 Chevy Sprint. Second gear went out around the time the warranty expired. I stopped driving it a few years later, still without a second gear. This car should last longer, unless I encounter another awful driver. |
