The main heat shield under the cats is buzzing like mad after a hard corner or a bump in road sometimes... I have tried to bend it to reduce buzz and to catch it and see where it's hitting but can never see any contact with exhaust ??
I found this old post "What i found was, when doing my Meagn Header install, the waffle looking metal heat shield that goes inside the hump, where there exhaust piping is run, its only attached at a few points... that entire piece needs a few self tapping screws run thru it.. it vibrates/rattles at the very edges, as its only locked down in the center". I was wondering if anyone has had this issue and if so any ideas ?? Or is the above suggestion the best option ?? Thanks |
