TPMS Sensors with Toyota Alloys?
I recently acquired some Toyota MR2 alloys for my car, and while at my buddies tires shop getting my tires swapped, we tried putting my TPMS sensors on the alloys. They fit, but there was a small air leak. The angle of the sensors is perfect, but the MR2 alloys didn't have a nice flat "seat" like my factory steelies had. I'm running now without the sensors until I can find a fix.
Anyone have any ideas? New softer seals? Different tapered seals? I'd like to keep the TPMS if possible. Thanks in advance. |
