Even a brand new 100cc Honda bike only costs USD $815 - pretty cheap conveyance no matter how you look at it, plus you don't feel like a dork riding one here because everyone else is anyway! :P
My 110cc CVT Honda with the fancy brake force distribution system still only cost less than USD $1400, and it gets me 200 miles for $2 in gas (that's better than 200mpg BTW)
