Check out my remote start DIY for a location on the under dash fuse panel for +12. The spade terminal that I show in the guide is actually a location for a fusible link for an option that we don't get on this side of the globe. You can slide a 1/4" female spade terminal onto the supply side of the link position and then add an appropriately sized wire and fuse. That voltage tap is a constant +12v, right?
So, if I wanted to tap into that for a GPS or something, I would have to remember to turn it off?
Is there a 60A fuse under the hood, in case something causes a high current draw?
