DIY: 2012 Radio Removal
Tools Needed:
1.Kung Fu Grip 2.8mm Socket, Extension, and Ratchet(I Used 8mm Screw Driver) or Philips #2 Screw driver Step 1. Starting on the right side of vehicle(Passenger side USDM) pull the surround panel using your kung fu grip by the a/c vent. It is held in by clips all the way around. After you loosen the first clip just pull gently all the way around. ![]() Step 2. Pull the surround out around the radio. Held in by clips similar to the dash panel. ![]() Step 3. (Optional) Remove the connector for Hazard Switch. (I left it connected and let it hang) ![]() Step 4. Unscrew the Radio using your tool of choice.(Yellow dots, 2 screws on each side) ![]() ![]() Step 5. Pull the radio out and remove connectors. ![]()
