custom seat bracket
just picked up some cheap seats off of craigslist, however they are a good deal more narrow than our seats. So, my idea is to keep the stock bracket and slider but have custom work done to make 4 (2 for each side) beams that go from left to right (if you are sitting in seat) that will be weight bearing.
I'm thinking it needs 4 holes:2 oustide holes to mount to oem bracket, and 2 inner holes (haha) to mount to the seat. One beam towards the front of the base of the seat, and one towards the rear. Approximately 22" long and 2" wide...now here is the real question, How thick? .25"? .5"? anyway, any input/advice would be great.
