That's correct that Napa is really Valvoline and this run was indeed 5W-20. After I drained for this test I switched to 5W-30 for the summer.

I don't have any association with Toyota to get their oil at a discount, which is why I like the Napa synthetic. I realize that Valvoline is considered behind the times with their synthetic, but I grew up on Valvoline products (been using them since my 72 Plymouth Scamp), and have always been happy with them. I think with me doing oil changes at 3,500, I could probably run any cheap oil and would never have issues.
