I'm so glad that this thread was resurrected from the dead. Never saw it before today!
My thing that gets on my nerves. Near my house there is a hill you go down with a "off ramp" that goes to the right. However, it merges into a one lane road and the "off ramp" effectively becomes the second lane. So, there's no reason to stop or yield to oncoming traffic, because there isn't any. At least once or twice a month I get behind someone that decides it's 100% necessary to just stop in the middle of the road there and yield to no one at all.  Just go!
