Moving the seat rails
So I've got a 3dr 2007 hatchback and I'm 6 feet tall. The Yaris isn't as bad as /some/ small cars I've owned or rented, but has anybody thought of moving the seat rails backwards so the seat would slide back and forth at a greater distance from the dashboard? Even just a few inches?
I shoved the passenger seat all the way forward to have a look and the rail it's sliding on has another hole an inch or two forward of the hole with which it's bolted to the floor pan. I then slid the seat all the way back to see if there's another hole in similar configuration at the front end, but could not really see anything without taking the seat off. Which I didn't want to because it was raining at the time. So has anybody done that yet? |
