Squeals and rattles - Toyota Yaris Forums

My 2007 Yaris Sedan is at 55k. When stopped at a light or stop sign I would hear a LOUD rattle. Also when I started the car a squealing belt!

The dealer fixed everything, $230.00 and said the rattle was the "intake" that needed to be adjusted and the squeal was that the ac belt needed to be replaced.

2 months out of that repair and the squeal has returned. Everytime I turn the car on it squeals for about 3 seconds. The belts seem tight. I put some soap on them, seems to have turned the 3 second squeal into a 1/2 second squeak.

How annoying!
