I disagree with WeeYari, I have run 45/50 on 15s 40/45/55 on 16s without issue. The shorter the sidewall the lower you will be to the ground and give the harsher the ride. Thicker side walls are usually more cushy.
Its going to come down to your wheel preference. Find the wheel you want and then find a tire to match. Think of what you want out of your new tire/wheel setup like weight, performance, looks, stance, handling, etc thats a good way to start
