My car did come with the Toyota single din OEM Fujitsu headunit and was thinking to upgrade the speakers too. The audio guys adviced me to upgrade the headunit first as the power output of the OEM unit isn't very good and to upgrade the speakers later if I'm still not satisfied. Just by switching to a single din Kenwood has improved the sound quality even with stock speakers.
