Wife’s 2005 Camry needs a mechanic

Like I’ve been telling you, this car has 191,000 miles on it. The steering wheel started having tight spots. I’m too debilitated with Parkinson’s to do anything about it so we got my brother-in-law Larry who is a freelance BMW mechanic to look at it.

I was afraid it was the rack, but it was a u joint in the steering wheel to rack shaft that seized. Larry just spray it with some lubricant and that The trick did.

Larry also found a bad tie rod end and one of the CV joint boot is ready to go.

So the car will be a little work, but not enough to scrap it.
