Engine Struggling At Stops. Stalls if giving too much gas.
So lately, I've noticed that when I'm at a stop or a light, when I try to go again the engine seems to struggle a bit. If you are very gingerly with the gas pedal it seems okay, but if you give it too much gas it seems to stutter and a few times the engine has stalled out. When the car is already in motion, everything works fine though. Acceleration is adequate when moving. It's only when at a complete stop. It's not throwing any codes on the computer so I'm not sure what to look into.
It's a 2007 with 300k miles on it, so it might just be a dying engine? But if there's some ovbious fix that you folks have run into, please enlighten me. Last edited by greenlightning; 06-11-2022 at 11:43 AM. |
