i think chikoree was used as a coffee replacement during ww2 when real coffee was hard to come by.
there's a reason why people switched back to real coffee afterwards. :)

i've got a bodum single cupper and a starbuck's 4 cupper, both are great.

i've had the bodum for years and it still works great, i think a little more coffee grinds are sneaking their way in, but that's no big deal.

lol, well flushing coffee grinds will keep your sinks from clogging up, so might serve the same purpose with your own plumbing.
