nah i didnt take any pix of the install process. it's pretty straight forward and simple. as long as you have the right bolts. you cant re use three of the bolts that bolt the headers to the block because the size is different and to make it more secure i guess.
you just unbolt the heat shield from the top of the engine, then lift the car one way or another, and go underneath and unbolt the headers from the block and the exhaust pipping, and burn yourself on the transmission in the process (too impatient to let the car cool). then take the o2 sensor off the headers with an o2 sensor socket if you have one. and then you put the new headers on with the new gaskets. i hope you have small hands cuz those bolts are fuckn hard to get to. extensions are nice too. whats an SRI? |
