Hi,

Pros: solid body feel, precise steering, reliability, quality build, simplicity, fun(Good) handling.

Cons: slow manual gear box, lag on the throttle, super high stock suspension.

Thanks

I've driven 3 manuals now and didn't notice either of these things (and with the second two, I was specifically looking for these things).

Depends if you downgraded from a more direct throttle to the Yaris drive-by-wire setup. I can't imagine it being all that hard to readjust to, just start adding throttle a second earlier.

I don't mind adjusting to adding/releasing the throttle out of sync with what I want the engine to do, but I DO object to the damn thing being so lightly sprung that I get cramps in my leg from holding my foot above the pedal. THAT is annoying!!

Hi Grampi,

Well.... slow gearbox is a relative term here....

Compared to the class of small cars, it's probably bout the same speed to shift gears.... faster than Hyundai Getz which my sister has, but is slower than my old 92 daihatsu charades gearbox.

Perhaps I'm just being a little fussy, but I would have liked the gearbox to be a little faster.... think Honda or Subaru.... I hate Hondas
